Pioneers in Window Covering Safety Since 2002
Decades before trade associations created minimum baseline labels, there was a demand for real, uncompromising validation. We answered that call. With nearly 20 years of proprietary testing data and relentless consumer advocacy, Parents for Window Blind Safety (PFWBS) pioneered the push for safer homes, making our certification the most respected emblem in the home goods sector.
The Power of Unbiased Validation
As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, PFWBS operates entirely free from industry funding and corporate bias. This absolute independence is our greatest asset—and yours. We do not grade our own homework.

Why Our Non-Profit Status Protects Your Bottom Line
By combining the uncompromising testing of accredited, third-party laboratories with our dedicated in-house quality review, we eliminate the conflict of self-regulation and bridge the critical gap between technical manufacturing compliance and unshakeable consumer trust.

How We Became the Undisputed Industry Standard
